The news was confirmed by an official at the Cooper Hospital who said, "He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago." Despite the fact that he made his acting debut with a lead role in the television show 'Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na,' his popularity rose when he played Shivraj in Balika Vadhu.
